A Day to Remember

On March 6, 2025, in honour of Ghana’s Independence Day, our school embarked on an unforgettable educational excursion to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum. This place echoes the heartbeat of Ghana’s history and the legacy of one of Africa’s greatest sons.

The air was filled with anticipation as our students, dressed smartly in their uniforms, set out to experience history in its most tangible form. For many, it was more than just a school trip; it was a walk through the corridors of Ghana’s independence struggle, told not just through words, but through artefacts, monuments, and the preserved resting place of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah himself.

With awe and curiosity, students toured the museum, observed personal belongings of Dr. Nkrumah, and reflected quietly by the mausoleum, where his enduring legacy rests. The experience sparked conversations about patriotism, leadership, and the true cost of freedom—concepts often taught in books but deeply felt in this moment.

This excursion was more than an outing. It was a reminder of our duty to raise not just students, but future leaders, ones who understand where we’ve come from and are inspired to shape where we are going.

As a school, we remain committed to delivering wholesome education learning that goes beyond the classroom, speaks to the heart, and stirs the soul. Our trip to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park is one we will always remember for the lessons it taught and the vision it ignited.
